Radio & Weasel Set To Split
According to sources, Radio has left Goodlyfe and the group's manager Jeff Kiwanuka is said to be working overtime to replace him with the Uganndan sensation David Lutalo. Jeff has allegedlt been able to convince the remaining half of the duo; Weasel that Lutalo can do an even better job as his partner than Radio did. According to Jeff, Lutalo sung better than radio in their collaboration song 'Helena'. Further information on the crew is that Weasel is not wasting anytime mourning the departure of Radio from the crew, in fact, he is alleged to already be in studio with Lutalo working on their first song together. Word on the street is that, the whole GoodLyfe crew is on the verge of a split and this is only the beginning. Radio and Jeff are allegedly no longer on speaking terms stemming from financial disagreements in the crew. It is claimed that Jeff earns the same amount as the duo from any of the contracts. It got worse when Radio openned the Wandegeya bar, where he spends most of his hours supervising its activities; something that Jeff is not so happy about. Goodlyfe Crew is a Ugandan music group. Its main performers are Moses Radio (born Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo) and Weasel (born Douglas Mayanja). Starting as backing vocalists for the Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone, Radio and Weasel broke off from Chameleone's Leone Island Crew in 2008 to form the Goodlyfe Crew. Since then, the duo's songs have been successful on Ugandan radio.[citation needed] Starting with Nakudata in 2008, the duo went on to release Lwaki Onumya, Zuena, Nyambura and Bread and Butter. In mid-2008, the duo collaborated with other artists such as Rachel Kay, Blu*3, OS, Toniks, GNL and Zambia's General Ozzy. More recently they have performed live and collaborated with fellow Ugandan artist Keko.
